Hi Denise,

Thank you for your comments, and interest in the blog! I just released the site a few weeks ago, and hope the word will spread to new readers soon. Sounds like we have similar interests! Good luck with your garden and cooking. I hope you enjoy a few recipes from Midwest Vegetarian. I will have an email sign up soon for those who would like notification when a new entry has been posted. Thank you for following the Midwest Vegetarian journey!

This is my 3rd comment today, as I just "found" your blog (a friend emailed the link to me, as she knew I'd be interested!), so I thought I would introduce myself.
My name is Denise and I also live in Indy. I grew up in northern IN where my parents gardened (still do) with a passion, so it's in my blood!
I'm also a blogger (been doing that for over 3 years) so I know the value of comments and I noticed you don't get too many - maybe because word hasn't gotten out about you yet?
Your blog is fantastic and I'm looking forward to trying some of your recipes.
My daughter and I both lean toward a vegetarian diet, though not exclusively (and my husband loves veggies, but loves meat, too!).
My son is a food fan and loves to cook. We both have an herb garden this year for the first time and are doing "dueling" gardens to see whose heirloom tomatoes ripen first!
Looking forward to reading more of your posts!
